As the seasons transform, so do we. A person never stays the same, they grow, learn, hurt, fail, and succeed A season never stays the same, never stays for long, and always creates beauty.

Trash is a metaphor. If we could rid the toxins of our mind as easily as our physical waste, life would be drastically different. The routine of taking out the trash is something we never recognize as a remedy for positivity. But if we released our inner problems along with the physical trash each time we did this dreaded task we may find tranquility within daily tasks. It is simple, we live the life we choose to live. We choose what eats us alive and what keeps us going on our worst days. We throw the negativity away but it never truly goes away. Our burrdens just fills someone elses landfill. But that is life, life is trash.

MUSIC MOVEMENTS
ELECTRONIC:
I chose the artist Marshmellow Bastille for the category of electric music. Marshmello is an American electronica dance music DJ and producer. I chose Marshmello for this category because I have seen him perform live and he is very talented. He wears a marshmallow helmet over his head to hide his identity which makes him unique. His work fits in the electronic DJ culture because his beats are produced using electronic musical instruments.
TECHNO:
I chose the artist Curtis Jones for the category of techno music. Curtis is an American singer, songwriter, and producer. The styles of music he focuses on are house and techno. He is a man of many names; six to be exact. His work fits in the techno music category because his music is focused around dance. Curtis Jones sparked the evolution of techno and house music. After all he is the music man.
NEO PSYCHEDELIA:
I chose the American Rock band MGMT for the category of Neo psychedelia music. Prior to this assignment I had no knowledge of the genre neo-psychedelia but I am pleased to have discovered such amazing sounds. Neo-psychedelia emerged in the 1970s as a unique genre based on the use of psychedelic drugs. The band MGMT currently consists of Andrew VanWyngarden, Ben Goldwasser, Will Berman, and Matt Asti. The music they produce empathized the ambiguous edge of avant-rock. I chose the song, Electric Feel by MGMT because I feel it embodies the psychedelia music culture. This musics allows listeners to escape the reality they are in and enter a surreal world of sound.
NINETIES:
I chose the English rock band Oasis for the category of the nineties because their song wonderwall is one of my favorites. The song tells an incredible and empowering story. To me, the wonderwall is a savior within ones-self. It is easy to feel alone in this world but the realization that you are not alone allows you to reach your wonderwall. It is hard to put our thoughts into words and believe anyone feels the same as you do. Life takes courage and music needs expression.
DISCO:
I chose the American band A Taste of Honey for the category of disco. The members of the band are Janice Marie Johnson, Hazel Payne, Perry Kibble, Donald Johnson, and Suzanne "Minnie" Thomas.Their song Boogie Oogie Oogie is a classic that I grew up listening to at family bbq, birthday parties, gatherings etc. It reminds me of childhood and dancing disco music with my cousins. The song Boogie Oogie Oogie is one of the most recognized songs of the Disco era. It embodies perfectly what the disco genre is all about; dance, good vibes, and nightlife.

What if the world is a stimulation?
What if the world is a stimulation? What if all we touch and feel is not reality. We perceive things the way we are supposed to; the way our higher power wants us to see it as. Whether that higher power is a god or the government, it really gets me thinking. We have no knowledge of what is really going on in this world we live in. News reports, television broadcasts, newspapers, social media, radios, etc. supply the population with information of the world we live in. But these platforms can be altered in ways to manipulate the way the population thinks or acts. I believe our government controls what we intake and experience as a population. I see the sun in the sky every morning and the stars and moon in the sky every night. How do I know the sun, stars, and moon are not being projected into the sky? I touch the beautiful green grass with my toes as I run through the field smelling the mist of the morning dew. I chew the sweet bubblegum in my mouth and as I blow a bubble I wonder, what if this is all a stimulation?
The Truman Show is an American fiction film in which the main character, Truman Burbank, lives in a simulated world and society without a clue.

Greetings! Here is a video of the piece I created for the Xerox assignment. I found this assignment rejuvenating and enlightening. I decided to scan parts of my body I see most; my ears, hands, arms, fingers, feet, mouth, eyes, etc. to send a message to the interpreter. Scanning these parts of my body felt weird, almost violating. The prints are extremely accurate, which is fascinating to me. Not only did I use the Xerox prints, but I also incorporated coins, shells at the beach which is where i spend most of my time, and the letter "K" for Kiara. Creating this piece allowed me to express myself in a way I never knew possible. It is amazing the vast amount of stories a piece can tell. I call this piece The Heartbeat of The Rain because this piece was inspired by a rainy day. In more ways then one a piece of my heart belongs to this work; a piece of me I share with you! I wanted to give a spiritual vibe so I chose to put enlightening music in the background. My body is my temple and YOU are welcome to explore.

In 2003, Niklas Zennstrom and Janus Fris, founded the Skype telecommunications application. Skype allows people to video chat and voice calls between computers, tablets, smartphones, smartwatches, X-box One console, etc. The application was influenced greatly by the telephone. The telephone allowed people to make and receive voice calls.
In a way, Skype revolutionized telecommunication because it incorporated the ability to see by using a webcam and speak through a microphone to communicate. In addition, the application has instant messaging that allows users to exchange text, images, word documents, etc. The application is used internationally for business and entertainment. Skype has it all, but it could have more.
I believe Skype is going to influence future technology immensely. As time advance so does technology. Today, we lack the ability to communicate using a 3-D hologram. If researches figure out how to create a live 3-D hologram chat, the world will change. Imagine being able to hug your mother who is thousands of miles away with the touch of a button as simple as making a Skype or telephone call. 3-D telecommunication is the future and I hope I am here to see video-chatting evolve into something greater.

FLIPBOOK
I really enjoyed making this flipbook! It was challenging and at times frustrating, but it is amazing to see the final product.
